Abstract. New data on the distribution of the Quaternary cover on the islands of the Northern Earth are presented. Types of marine mollusks from terraces on the islands of Pioneer, Samoilovich and Limestone have been determined. New observations on the islands confirm the weak development of Quaternary sediments in the archipelago, which are found only in river valleys and other depressions.
