Abstract. The report provides information on the work of the laboratory of geology and mineralogy of the latest deposits of the Geological Institute of the Kola Science Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences in studying the position of the sea coastline relative to its current level at different stages of the Late Glacial and Holocene, on other problems of Quaternary geology and neotectonics of the White Sea coast included the Oleniy Island. Keywords: bottom deposits, isolated basins, coastal line location, vertical tectonic movements, catastrophic events
