Abstract. In order to standardize information about the capacity of the seasonal melt layer in the western part of the Magadan region, in August 2022, the CALM "Ice" site was laid on the left slope of the Anmangynda River valley in the area of the formation of giant ice, its dimensions were adopted as standard 100 by 100 m in increments measurements of 10 m. Every second measurement point is marked with an iron reinforcement pin up to 1 m long, driven to a depth of 60-70 cm. A high-precision geodetic survey of the site, including the height of the pins indicating the observation points, was carried out. Despite the short series of analyzed data, due to the practical lack of information about the state of the MMG for the territory under consideration, the results obtained are relevant and necessary.
