Abstract. In this publication were described of the reference section of marine deposits of upper current Krinka River of Kanin Peninsula (observation point 8110, absolute altitude 110-130 m) with typic marine sand teхstures, frequent boreal molluscs and crustaceans: Chlamys islandicus (Muller), Modiolus modiolus (Linnaeus), Astarte borealis (Schumacher), Mya truncata Linnaeus, Buccinum undatum Linnaeus, Arctica islandica (Linnaeus), Spisula elliptica (Brown), Erginus rubellus (Fabricius), Balanus balanus Linnaeus, B. crenatus (Bruguiere) and Hiatella sp.. The absolute datting of mollusk shells from this locality by U/Th method reaches the age of 118 000 years what give assumption about inclusion of this section in Middle and Late Neopleistocene age. Keywords: key section, MiIddle Neopleistocene, Late Neopleistocene, marine genesis, molluscs, crustaceans, boreal, Krinka River, Kanin Peninsula
