Abstract. Monitoring of active layer depth and ground temperature on three key sites of the north of Yamal-Nenets AD: «Vaskiny Dachi» on the Yamal Peninsula, «Tazovsky» on the north of Pur-Taz interfluve and «Gyda» on the north of Gydan Peninsula was ongoing in 2022. Moreover, new polygons «Antipayuta» in the area of the village of the same name in the south of the Gydan Peninsula and «Krasnoselkup» in the area of the village of the same name in the middle reaches of the Taz River were established.

Keywords: active layer depth, permafrost, monitoring, active layer, ground temperature
