Abstract. During the TTR-21 expedition in the northeastern part of the Kara Sea, complex geological and geophysical studies were carried out. The paper presents the results of the analysis of the upper part of the section of the site of detailed studies in the vicinity of Uedineniya Island. According to a number of hydroacoustic and seismoacoustic methods, signs of the impact of cryogenic processes in the study area were found. The morphology and nature of the distribution of the discovered structures and landforms indicate different formation mechanisms associated with the possible presence of permafrost in the past. Keywords: shelf, Kara Sea, seismic survey, hydroacoustics, cryogenic processes
