Abstract. There are presented materials concerning development of glacial environments in the North of West Siberia in the Pleistocene. Estimation of phenomena yielded by cold has been given from the positions of the system approach. Basing on the analysis of the placement of Earth Cryosphere’ objects and its changes, a system arrangement of the objects of cryogenic-glacial geosystems in the space occupied by them has been carried out. There also considered interaction of the elements of the cryogenic-glacial systems with the objects generated by contiguous geosystems.

Keywords: cryogenic-glacial geosystems, analysis of glacial phenomena, Pleistocene, north of West Siberia
