Abstract. We present new data that were generated by intensive field surveys and comprehensive geological-geomorphological, geophysical and archaeological studies within the southeastern coast of the Unskaya Bay of the White Sea (Una village area; Arhangelsk region). The study is based on the results of geomorphological and ground-penetrating radar (GPR) profiling, interpretation of detailed space images and archaeological survey of the territory. As a result, we reconstructed relative sea level (RSL) changes within the southeastern coast of the Unskaya Bay and its initial settlement by pre-historic humans in the Holocene. We have documented discontinuous fragments of ancient coastlines at heights not exceeding 6-7 meters, which fix the position of the Late Holocene Sea.

Keywords: seashores, morphodynamics, relative sea level, paleolimnological studies, GPR studies, geoarchaeological studies, Holocene, Letniy Coast, White Sea
