Abstract. Five sections of Smolensk and Tver regions were studied during the field works in 2020-2022. Samples from them were taken for 230Th/U for dating method, spore-pollen and paleocarpological analyses. According to the results, the duration of the Mikulino (Eemian) Interglacial is at least 25-30 thousand years. Some features of the appearance of trees and shrubs pollen in spore-pollen spectra were revealed.

Keywords: Russian Plain, Mikulino (Eemian) Interglacial, pollen analysis, paleocarpological analysis, uranium-thorium dating
