Abstract. In a unique section of late glacial deposits on the right bank of the Oyat’ river between the villages of Shirinichi and Shanginichi, there is a paragenetic complex of paleocryogenic textures and subaerial deposits, the formation of which reflects the climatic extreme of the Younger Dryas. The permafrost formation of the Oyat cryocomplex took place in a very short period of the Younger Dryas, that is, approximately 600–700 years.
