Abstract. The paper presents the first reconnaissance results of the work on studying Quaternary deposits in the lower reaches of the Indigirka River, carried out in 2022-2024. An inventory of outcrops described in the period from the 1920s to the 1980s was made in the area from the Momo-Selennyakh Depression to the Yana-Indigirka Lowland. It was found that most of the known outcrops are completely covered. New data were obtained on the structure and age of deposits in the Malykhchyn section in the northern part of the Abyi Lowland, and a correlation was made between the horizons identified in it and the stratotype sections of the Middle and Late Neopleistocene of the Yana-Indigirka Lowland.

Keywords: Indigirka, Ice Complex, Quaternary deposits, Yedoma, tunnel
