Abstract. In 2021, geological and geophysical investigations were carried out in the northern part of the Bering Sea. Based on the results of high- and ultra-high-resolution seismic profiling, reflecting horizons were traced and seismic units corresponding to Quaternary sediments accumulated at different stages of geological development were identified. Sediments of 4 seismic units were sampled using vibrocoring. Studies of cores up to 3 m long were carried out, which included geochemical, grain-size and diatom analyses, which made it possible to partially characterize changes in sedimentation conditions in the Bering Strait in the Quaternary.
